Darjeeling is a town in India's West Bengal state, in the Himalayan foothills. Once a summer resort for the British Raj elite, it remains the terminus of the narrow-gauge Darjeeling Himalayan Railway, or “Toy Train,” completed in 1881. It's famed for the distinctive black tea grown on plantations that dot its surrounding slopes. Its backdrop is Mt. Kanchenjunga, among the world’s highest peaks.

Day 1 NJP RLY STATION / IXB AIRPORT - GANGTOK (125KMS / 04HRS)

Upon arrival at New Jalpaiguri Railway Station / Bagdogra Airport meet & greet, then transfer to Gangtok (5,480 ft.).(The capital of the state of Sikkim, Gangtok is an attractive tourist destination, reflecting a unique ambience which derives from its happy blend of tradition and modernity. Alongside the deeply felt presence of stupas and monasteries, Gangtok also bustles like any other thriving town). Check-in to hotel & enjoy rest of the day at leisure. Shop around at M.G. Marg & explore the city on your own. Enjoy overnight stay in Gangtok.

Day 2 GANGTOK - TSOMGO LAKE & BABA MANDIR - GANGTOK (55 KMS ONE WAY)

After a delicious breakfast at hotel visit Tsomgo Lake (12,400 ft.) & Baba Mandir (13,200 ft.) which is 55 kms one way from Gangtok city. Enjoy the evening at leisure. Shop around at M.G. Marg & explore the city on your own. Enjoy overnight stay in Gangtok.(If due to landslide or bad road condition Tsomgo Lake is closed then alternate sightseeing will be provided).

Day 3 GANGTOK LOCAL SIGHTSEEING

After a delightful breakfast start for the full day city tour covering Tashi view point, Ganesh Tok& Hanuman Tok, Ranka Monastery, Banjakhri Falls, Cottage Industry, Dro-dulChorten, Institute of Tibetology, Flower show and Handicraft Centre. Enjoy overnight stay in Gangtok.

Day 4 GANGTOK - PELLING (120 Kms / 05 hrs)

After enjoying breakfast check out from the hotel & transfer to Pelling (6,100 ft.). On arrival at Pelling, check-in to your hotel. Enjoy overnight stay in Pelling.

Day 5 PELLING SIGHTSEEING

After a delightful breakfast start for full day sightseeing, In 1st Half tour - Darap village, Rimbi water Falls, Sewaro Rock Garden, Khecheopalri Lake &Khangchendzongha waterfalls. In afternoon start for 2nd half tour -, Rabdantse Ruins, New Halipad Ground. Spend the evening at leisure. Enjoy overnight stay in Pelling.

Day 6 PELLING - DARJEELING (109 kms /4 hrs)

After a delicious breakfast check out from hotel and transfer to Darjeeling (6,710 ft). On arrival at Darjeeling check-in to hotel & enjoy rest of the day at leisure. Stroll in the Mall by your own. Enjoy overnight stay in Darjeeling.

Day 7 DARJEELING LOCAL SIGHTSEEING

Be a witness of the spectacular sunrise over Mt. Kangchenjunga (28,208 ft. Worlds 3rd highest peak at around 4 a.m) at Tiger Hill early in the morning (subject to weather condition). Thrill yourself by visiting World famous Ghoom Monastery and Batasia Loop on your way back. After a sumptuous breakfast visit Himalayan Mountaineering Institute, P.N. Zoological Park (Thursday close), Tenzing Rock, Tibetan Refugee self-help Centre (Sunday closed), Tea Garden (outer view) , Japanese Temple, Peace Pagoda and Ropeway (Ticket cost not included and directly payable by guest). In evening explore the Mall on your own & shop around. Enjoy overnight stay in Darjeeling.

Day 8 DARJEELING - NEW JALPAIGURI STATION / BAGDOGRA AIRPORT (98 KMS / 3 HRS)

After your breakfast check out from the hotel and take the departure transfer to New Jalpaiguri Station / Bagdogra Airport for your onward journey with unlimited memory of North East Tour.
